Mission
The Emerson Channel is Emerson College’s award-winning college television network. Formed in 1999, the professionally-managed, student-run organization functions as both a content producer and distributor with several originally produced shows and student submitted content. The Emerson Channel airs on Emerson College’s Boston campus on channel 56, as well as online at emersonchannel.org.

We are an organization under Emerson Channel that covers sports-related content. We broadcast every Emerson Lions game live online for parents in other parts of the country to watch. We also have studio shows and now cover sports outside of Emerson College.

Mission
Emerson Mane Events (EME) is a team of students who develop and organize events and activities on campus that celebrate the diversity of our community, promote student involvement, and foster collaboration among student organizations. EME has been recognized with an ERA Award in 2016 for their commitment to programming for the Emerson student community.

Members gain hands-on experience in all aspects of event planning, including booking, promoting, and management.

Student organizations at Emerson College can request event planning assistance from EME.

Emerson College Recognition and Achievement Awards is an annual awards ceremony and entirely student-run organization providing an opportunity to learn technical production, marketing, project management, show scriptwriting, and logistics. All ERA Team students work together to develop community, empower each other, and reward their fellow stand-out Emerson Students and their hard work.

Through a College-wide nomination process, 11 Specialized Awards are given to groups and individuals who have demonstrated particular excellence during the academic year.

The mission of Emerson’s FSL Council is to contribute to a sense of social inclusiveness by providing social and professional greek letter organizations opportunities to engage with the Emerson community and the surrounding Boston community.

The purpose of the Council shall be to facilitate open communication, unification, and harmony within the FSL community, as well as evaluate and incorporate prospective organizations into the FSL Community at Emerson College.

The EVVY Awards is like no other college production in the country. Modeled after professional shows such as the Emmys and the Oscars, the EVVY Awards has become the largest multi-camera, live switch event any school has to offer. This award winning show has become nationally recognized with a first place award at The National Association of College Broadcasters awards and has received two national Telly Awards.

Throughout the year, student work can submit their work to a wide variety of categories, creating a very competitive environment right here on campus. These submissions are then sent out to local and national professional judges in their respective field to ensure a fair and experience judging process.

The EVVY Awards is not only an award show, it is also a student run organization which provides an adequate learning experience for hundreds of Emerson Students. Throughout the year, students can be reassured that they will be taught by using hands-on experience, how to succeed in the professional world. No matter what age, or major, The EVVY Awards will have something for you.
